The Barracuda B300 is a pair of foam seal swim goggles with a trendy, streamlined design and flat, fog-resistant coated lenses to keep your vision clear. They are designed for fitness swimmers and feature a "positive pressure" seal rather than suction.
The B300 frame boasts BARRACUDA's patented, positive pressure construction, which matches the face's bone structure. In addition, the soft, conforming foam cells close down to completely seal the water out without painful suction. Large lenses provide a huge visual field. The foam shown on these goggles is white. Lenses are not anti-fog; however, you can purchase a bottle of anti-fog drops from Barracuda here in our store.
When trying a barracuda goggle for the first time, one must understand these are pressure goggles versus a suction goggle.
- Goggle Strap Position: Adjust the goggle strap to be worn at a 45-degree angle above the ball of the back of your head. This positioning tilts the goggle in and up within the eye socket.
- Strap Placement: Ensure the strap is split over the back ball of the head for a secure fit.
- Strap Tension: Tighten the straps very, very securely to maintain the desired fit.
- Nose Piece Adjustment: Customize the nose pieces according to your comfort and fit requirements. Use the small end of the hex key and turn counterclockwise to loosen the screw. Please be mindful not to catch the foam with the wrench.
- Memory Foam Adaptation: Please note that Barracuda goggles feature memory foam, and it may take some time and wear to adapt to the unique contours of your eyes.
- Defogger Use: Apply one drop of defogger to the inside of each lens. Gently spread it around and lightly wipe away any excess. Avoid excessive wiping, as this will remove the defogger. Apply once before swimming for best results.
Enjoy peace of mind in knowing your goggles will be covered from accidental damage while adjusting your goggles or even getting them to fit properly. We have Hassle-free replacements available when you separately purchase Extend™ coverage on your new goggles.
Fit & Adjustment Information
- 3M Foam Padding: Pre-applied during manufacturing. If the foam sticks to the inner packaging during unpacking, simply press it back into place by hand. This is normal and not a defect.
- Adjustment Care: When tightening the nose bridge set screws, keep the Allen wrench clear of the foam to avoid damage.
- Fit Matters: Improper adjustment or loose screws may cause leaks or fogging and are related to fit, not product failure.
- Returns: Returns are not accepted on Barracuda Comfort Series goggles once opened.
- Models: Applies to Classic, B300, and Medalist models.
